FAQ
Good questions.
Everything people usually ask before they join. Still wondering about something? Email inquiries.theoffbeathours@gmail.com.
Workshops
Do I need any dance or art experience?
Not at all. Every session is built for first timers. The host walks you through each step, and nobody is grading you.
Can I come alone?
Yes, and plenty of people will. Groups stay small, so it is easy to meet people without it feeling forced.
Where are the workshops held?
Around Dallas Fort Worth, in studios, cafes and partner venues. Exact locations go first to people who have picked their offbeat hour with us.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is shared with each workshop announcement. Anyone who picks their offbeat hour before launch gets founding member pricing on their first booking.
What should I wear or bring?
Something comfortable you can move in. We bring the materials. You will get a short note with any specifics before your session.
Picking your offbeat hour
What does picking your offbeat hour mean?
You tick the experiences you would love to try, plus where in DFW and when suits you. We only notify you about the experiences you picked, when they are happening near you. It is free, with no payment and no commitment.
What if what I want is not on the list?
Pick "My own idea" on the Pick your offbeat hour form, DM us on Instagram at @the.offbeat.hours, or email inquiries.theoffbeathours@gmail.com. We read every idea.
Do I get anything for picking early?
Yes. First pick of dates and founding member pricing on your first booking.
Will you spam me?
No. We only email when there is something worth knowing, like new dates. You can unsubscribe any time with one click or a quick reply.
Teams and private events
Can you host something for my company or group?
Yes. Use Host your offbeat hour and we will get back to you within a couple of days with ideas and a quote.
Do you come to our office?
We can come to your office, or we can suggest a venue near you if you would rather get the team out of the building.
What kinds of private events do you host?
Team building, birthdays, bridal and baby showers, friend group celebrations and community or cultural events.
How far ahead should we book?
Two to four weeks ahead gives us time to plan it properly. If you are working with a tighter timeline, ask anyway.
Go on, surprise yourself.
